Bloom-iful London

Today marks the start of my fifth week in London, England! I can't believe four weeks have already come and gone. It seems like just yesterday I was stepping off the plane and eating my first (of many) fish and chip baskets. I brought my computer along with the intention of blogging weekly...but as you can tell that didn't quite happen. Between work, and weekends playing tourist, it's been hard to find time to sit down and write, but here I am...finally!

Although this post isn't quite sticking with my "interiors theme", I couldn't resist. I think i've perhaps picked one of the best times to visit this city, everything looks so lush, with flowers in full bloom! I'm currently staying in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, where every street boasts a beautiful array of wild London gardens, and brightly painted exteriors. Here are some of my favourite flower pictures from my time so far, enjoy!

The Churchill Arms: This pub was a must-see for me, turns out it's just down the street from where i'm staying too! (And yes, those are ALL real flowers and plants lining the pub)

Ahhh beautiful wisteria. The season for this pretty plant is now coming to an end, but I definitely enjoyed it to the fullest!

This charming little cottage is located in Kensington Gardens, and is surrounded by the most beautiful spring flowers. I honestly felt like I was in a fairytale.

A typical "wild" London garden. I took this while wandering the streets of Kensington and Chelsea.

Some more wisteria, because just LOOK at it!!

The beautiful gardens of Primrose Hill, near Hampstead. Side note: this park has a really great view of Camden and Somers Town.

The beautiful gardens in Holland Park: I stumbled upon this park after visiting the nearby Design Museum! It was the perfect place to take a break and read my book.

I took this picture while on a day trip in Bath. The roses were growing up an apartment in the Royal Crescent.

Another shot from Bath! This place is very much the quintessential British town, with narrow cobblestone streets and 18th-century Georgian architecture.

Notting Hill has quickly become one of my favourite areas of London to explore. The houses and gardens are simply amazing. I'll leave you with these pictures of some lovely white roses in the area.
